Fix a Blogger error

If you see an error code in Blogger, like bx-w7tr63, there are a few ways to make them go away.

Each error code is different, but here are a few tips that usually make error codes go away. Follow the steps in order. If the step you're on fixes the issue, you don't need to do the rest.

Note: If you got the error code while trying to save changes in your template or gadget, the error is probably because of a problem in the code you're saving. Look through your code to make sure you didn't forget to close any tags.

Reload the page to see if the error goes away. If this doesn't work, try step 2.

Load the same page in a different browser.

Blogger works with these browsers and operating systems:

• Firefox: Windows, Mac OSX, Linux.
• Safari: Mac OSX
• Internet Explorer: Windows. If you're using Internet Explorer, try disabling compatibility mode. Blogger won't work if that is turned on.

Your browser may have extensions installed that prevent Blogger from working. These may be extensions that you've downloaded, or extensions that were maliciously downloaded onto your computer.

When you call up Blogger from a private browsing window, extensions are disabled. So if the page loads in a private browsing window, reset your browser settings to remove the extensions or malicious program.
